Appreciation to Glowing Lamp Foundation
The organizers and participating communities of Nuahalenya, Addokope, Hwakpo, and Luhour have expressed heartfelt gratitude to Glowing Lamp Foundation (GLF) for its support in making the Soccer Gala held on January 17, 2026, in Nuahalenya a resounding success.
According to the organizers, GLF’s generous donation of jerseys, soccer balls, soccer socks, trophies, and the winning prize played a crucial role in the smooth execution of the tournament. The event brought together young people from the four communities, fostering unity, teamwork, sportsmanship, and active youth participation.
Community leaders noted that the initiative not only provided a platform for sporting excellence but also strengthened social bonds among the participating areas. They described GLF’s contribution as both timely and impactful, highlighting the foundation’s dedication to youth empowerment and community development.

Pilot BECE Preparation Support
In addition to its support for the sporting event, Glowing Lamp Foundation also extended academic assistance on a pilot basis to Nuahalenya D/A Basic School. The foundation provided targeted support aimed at preparing students for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
This initiative, organizers said, significantly strengthened revision sessions and improved students’ readiness for the examination, reflecting GLF’s broader commitment to enhancing academic outcomes in underserved communities.
